This website will be the wholesale alternative to our main website THE SPIDER ROOM. You must be a business or sell Tarantulas and other inverts on Arachnoboards, Tarantula Forum or your personal website. Also if you can prove that your business attends reptiles shows throughout the country then that will work as well. You will need to provide proof of this before we will ship your order. If you can not get this info to us we will cancel your order.

SHIPPING: On this website the shipping price is set at the highest it can possibly be so that you can checkout and be set. On most orders the actual price of shipping will be lower than what you pay at checkout. The difference of this amount will be refunded to you. This price includes a box fee and heat/cold packs if needed. The only other way I can do this is to send you an invoice for the exact shipping price. If you would like me to do that then please email me your entire order along with your zip code to jurassicpetsupplies@gmail.com.

WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WED-FRI 12-5PM. PLEASE CHECK THE “DAILY LIVESTOCK UPDATE” TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES TO OUR SCHEDULE.

 

MINIMUM ORDER

 

THERE IS A $250 MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED. THIS IS THE SUBTOTAL PRICE BEFORE SHIPPING.. ANY PURCHASE THAT DOES NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED. 

 

PAYMENT

 

PAYMENTS MADE TO THROUGH THE WEBSITE ARE EITHER THROUGH A CREDIT CARD OR THROUGH PAYPAL. 

 

ALL TRANSACTIONS TAKING PLACE IN THE STATE OF CA WILL HAVE AN 8% TAX APPLIED TO THE SUBTOTAL. 

 

REFUNDS WILL BE SENT BACK THE SAME WAY AS PAID. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS MAY TAKE 5-10 DAYS TO PROCESS THE REFUND. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR BANK AS TO HOW FAST IT GOES BACK. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS. PAYPAL TRANSACTIONS WILL GO THROUGH SAME DAY AS REFUND IS SENT.

THIS SHIPMENT MUST BE SHIPPED TO A PHYSICAL RETAIL LOCATION OR TO A FEDEX HUB NEAR YOU FOR PICKUP.

 

ALL PACKAGES HELD AT A FEDEX HUB NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP THE SAME DAY THEY ARRIVE THERE OR LAG IS VOID.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CARRIER DELAYS. SINCE COVID BEGAN FEDEX TURNED OFF ON TIME DELIVERY. WE DO THE BEST WE CAN TO GET YOU THE PACKAGE IN A TIMELY MANNER. IF YOUR PACKAGE IS DELAYED WE WILL EXTEND OUR LAG UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED OR PICKED UP FROM A FEDEX HUB.

Live Arrival Insurance

(Domestic Shipments Only)

Cost: $2.50 per $100 of coverage.
Maximum Coverage: $5,000 per package plus shipping costs. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be shipped Priority Overnight.

    • Standard Overnight and 2 Day are not covered.

  • Must be shipped out Monday through Wednesday. 

    • Shipments sent out on Thursday or Friday are not covered.

  • Packaging must meet Reptiles Express and FedEx shipping standards.

  • The delay must be a FedEx approved service failure (volume, missorts, and lost packages).

    • Any delay that cannot be directed associated with FedEx’s infrastructure (i.e. weather delays, airport closures, local closures, etc) will not be covered.

    • If the delay is caused by a requested service change by either the shipper or the recipient (incorrect address change, reroute, etc), you will not be covered.

  • When shipping to a hub, the package is considered on time if it’s scanned as ‘Ready for Pickup’ before the commitment time. 

    • If the recipient picks up the package late and the animal is DOA, you are not covered.

  • When shipping to a residential or business address, the package is considered on time if a delivery attempt is made before the commitment time.

    • All residential/business deliveries must have the delivery confirmation option (adult signature required).

    • If the recipient is not available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt, and the animal is DOA, you are not covered.

Failure to meet these requirements will forfeit all coverage.

Filing A Claim:

All DOA claims must be made known to Reptiles Express within 4 hours of the official delivery time. If it is outside of our business hours, leave either a voicemail or an email. Failure to do so voids the insurance coverage. This message needs to include the claimant’s full name, email address, phone number, and tracking number. 

Claimant must provide a receipt for the purchase of the live reptile. If the shipment is not a commercial transaction, claimant must provide a copy of the itemized packing list from the package, which is required by the Lacey act. This provides proof of value.

Claimant must provide clear digital photos or video of all packaging - including label, outer box, insulation, packing material, and any temperature control packs used. This proves the shipper followed Reptiles Express shipping guidelines.

Claimant must also provide clear digital photos or video of the animal, showing its condition and markings. This provides proof of dead arrival.

Animal must be kept frozen for 21 days or until the claim is released, whichever comes first. If the animal can’t be provided upon Reptiles Express request, the claim will not be paid.

All evidence — receipt/packing list and photos/video — must be provided within 8 hours of the official delivery time. Claim payments will be made to the shipper.


***WE NEED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH YOU BEFORE WE WILL SHIP YOUR ORDER OUT FOR THE SAFETY OF THE ANIMALS. WE WILL TRY CONTACTING YOU BY EMAIL, TEXT AND PHONE. IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH YOU, YOUR THE ORDER WILL REMAIN VIABLE FOR 3 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE DATE AT WHICH TIME THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS CORRECT.

 

LAG (LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE)

 

ALL ANIMALS WILL BE GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE TO YOU SAFELY IF SHIPPED BY FEDEX OVERNIGHT. ALL DOA’S MUST BE SENT TO US BY THE END OF THE DAY OF RECEIVING THROUGH EMAIL. AFTER THAT THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED. YOU MUST EMAIL US A PICTURE OF THE DECEASED ANIMAL WITH A TOP VIEW AND THEN ONE OF IT FLIPPED ON ITS BACK OR A SHORT VIDEO WHERE WE CAN SEE IT BEING FLIPPED OVER. SOMETIMES THE ANIMAL IS JUST COLD. PLEASE GIVE IT A COUPLE HOURS TO RECOVER. 

 

DELIVERY MUST BE MADE ON FIRST ATTEMPT OR LAG IS VOID. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE THE PACKAGE REDIRECTED TO ANOTHER LOCATION AFTER IT HAS LEFT OUR STORE THEN IT WILL HAVE THE LAG VOID. 

 

TEMPERATURES MUST BE BETWEEN 50-85 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT FOR THE LAG TO BE VALID AND BE DELIVERED TO YOUR BUSINESS. WE WILL USE COLD / HEAT PACKS AT OUR DISCRETION DEPENDING ON YOUR WEATHER WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF SHIPPING.


IF THE TEMPERATURE RANGE IS NOT WITHIN THE 50-85 DEGREES RANGE THEN WE WILL GIVE YOU A LIST OF FEDEX HUBS TO SHIP TO. THIS IS SAFEST WAY TO HAVE ANIMALS SHIPPED. IF YOU STILL NEEDED HOME DELIVERY THEN YOU CAN VOID THE LAG.

 

LAG NOT AVAILABLE FOR IN STORE PICKUP, IN PERSON DELIVERIES OR  REPTILE SHOWS. ONCE YOU LEAVE WITH THE ANIMAL ALIVE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. PLEASE CHECK AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS ALIVE!!!

MOST SIZING WILL BE SEEN IN INCHES. SOMETIMES YOU WILL SEE SOMETHING LISTED AS L1,L2 ETC, THIS IS A EUROPEAN WAY OF SIZING TARANTULAS. ALL IT MEANS IS HOW MANY MOLTS THE ANIMAL HAS HAD IN ITS LIFE. FOR EXAMPLE L1 EQUALS 1 MOLT.

 

ALL ANIMALS WILL BE SOLD UNSEXED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. DO NOT ASK FOR A FEMALE IF ONE IS NOT OFFERED.
